A World of Random Wonders

This view from Gurugram is the closest to my heart. Out of all the places I have known, this was where I dreamed the most—looking out across the endless horizon of shimmering city lights after long hours of building and thinking. It is simply the most lovely place to me: a haven of quiet hope, deep aspirations, and peaceful clarity. A place that holds my deepest dreams, and a place where I truly want to be once again.

This visit to Qutub Minar was my very first solo trip. Honestly, I don’t like traveling solo—I always prefer having company to share the experience with. But because I didn’t have anyone to go with, I decided not to let that stop me and went on my own anyway. Standing beneath this towering 72-meter minaret of fluted red sandstone that has stood for over eight centuries, soaking in the history and grandeur in solitude, it turned into an unforgettable personal milestone of courage and curiosity.

The real story of this film night was the kicks: I was wearing my Air Jordan 1 High OG "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" sneakers while watching the movie in the theater! Kicked back in the cinema hall seat, watching Gwen Stacy’s explosive drum solo and the stunning, boundary-pushing multiverse animations while rocking the exact commemorative Jordans on my feet made the entire experience unforgettable. It wasn’t just watching art on screen; it was being completely immersed in the culture.

Every creative workspace needs warmth, and mine is kept alive by soft toys that I truly love. What makes them so special is that all of them were sent to me as gifts by my friends. Perched proudly alongside my book stack—from Ankur Warikoo’s DO EPIC SHIT to romance paperbacks and grand fantasy epics—sits Shinchan with his playful grin, right next to a loyal teddy bear in a cozy striped tee. I also have another favorite pink rabbit soft toy from friends, even though it didn’t make it into this photo. They are sweet, constant reminders of the people who cheer me on.
